چکیده

Abstract Wireless technology has been significantly expanding to perform automotive services related enhancing road networks and increasing traffic safety. Internet of Vehicles (IoV), as a part wireless sensor technology, succeeded in making considerable progress promoting protecting human lives from the damage caused by accidents. The statistical reports demonstrated that utilizing data dissemination techniques IoV share timely information about vehicle’s position with drivers plays key avoiding accidents occurrence. This type technique enables propagation collaboratively efficient manner boost real-time performance. However, several limitations have arisen network bandwidth usage power consumption, well communication reliability packet loss probability. main objective this study is present new vehicular architecture supports integration Software-Defined fog computing for VANET An energy-efficient QoS-aware routing allowing control excessive across also proposed. simulation results show proposed protocol introduced an accurately controlling methodology transmission rate packets VANET. There 50–60% enhancement whole consumption throughput, depending on implementation geographical methodology.

Behavior-consistent real-time traffic routing under information provision

The problem addressed here involves a controller seeking to enhance traffic network performance via real-time routing information provision to drivers while explicitly accounting for drivers’ likely reactions towards the information. A fuzzy control modeling approach is used to determine the associated behavior-consistent information-based network control strategies. Experiments are performed t...

Dynamic Resource Routing using Real-Time Information

Searching the nearest available resource is an important query with many applications in spatial database systems. Examples are searching free parking spots or charging stations in a road network. Information about the availability is usually approximated as long-term statistics. Recently, online systems and sensor networks become more and more common providing access to real-time information a...

An Energy-efficient and Real-time Anonymous Routing Protocol for Ad hoc Networks

Anonymous routing in ad hoc networks has been one of the major concerns over the past few years. Most researches have only focused on the route anonymity without considering energy efficiency and real-time performance which are also major concerns in ad hoc networks. In this paper, we propose a novel efficient anonymous routing protocol which provides not only anonymity but also energy efficien...

An Energy Efficient Position Based Adaptive Real-Time Routing protocol for WSNs

Devices for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are limited by power and thus routing protocols should be designed with this constrain in mind. This paper presents and evaluates an Energy Efficient Position Based Adaptive Real-Time Routing protocol (EFPBARP) as a novel, real-time, position based and energy efficient routing protocol. EFPBARP is a lightweight protocol that reduces the number of nodes...
